Colors....A-Brewing...

It's been quiet in the shop this week... not only because i was hit by a terribly stomach ache mid week but also because I've been busy. Now, I can't reveal quite yet what I've been up to but, I'm cooking something up for the shop and it involves a lot of color... so, in the meantime, I have to leave you with this photo to give you a sneak peek of what's brewing...

The big surprise will have to wait till next month...

Also, I'm planning and preparing for a large clearance sale in order to liquidize some stocks for October's "acquisitions" business trip...so that means, its a busy end of the month for me in preparations....

Anyways..happy weekend all!

Long Weekend

It's another long weekend...but since our car is in the shop for regular maintenance, my family and i decided we would stay home and do a non-stop movie marathon. We have a stack of old movies and we're now halfway through the weekend. Of course, while watching, I like to keep my hands busy packing stuff and listing items on the site...

Here are some really cute settings that are new...

I have some creative ideas of what i can do with these new beauties...

And then there's these filigree bead caps...

So, it's a working weekend...but still enjoying ...
Have a great week!

Thankful for Everyday Tasks...

Today was spent doing common everyday tasks for the online shop...counting...

sorting...

packing...

labeling...

To some it may sound terribly mundane... but to me it is a joy.

When you love what you do...you enjoy even the simplest of tasks....  I love beads...I love craft making materials and touching them, re-arranging them ..even just looking at them sparks a kind of excitement and inspiration.

I wonder to myself what these beads and metal components will become...what kind of jewelry will it be part of ..who will be wearing it. Every little component can be part of something big in the hands of its creator! And i am forever thankful to my Creator that he has given me joy in all my everyday tasks....

Have fun creating!!!

There's nothing more exciting to me than an arrival of new samples!!! You finally hold in your hand the actual feel of metal and not just an image printout... doesn't that just hit you with all sorts of ideas and inspiration!!!

So the arrival of this set of samples...sure put a smile on my face....

I've already listed them in the Facebook shop...and tonight I'll put it up on my website too! Of course, I also keep one of each in my personal collection!!! Yey! Whichever one of these are popular will become REGULAR items in the shop...personally i love them all....

Waiting for the Courier

Its been raining non stop here in the Philippines and there's been a lot of flooding everywhere. I'm lucky to be at home safe and warm while some people are out there waiting to be rescued on their rooftops amidst flood waters.

My worries are for my customers. They await their packages and they are still here at my home awaiting the courier. I can't blame the motorcycle courier riders because it is hard to brave through this nasty weather...so, luckily my customers are quite understanding and very patient...

here are your packages safe and warm still waiting to arrive in their destination....

all packed up since Monday...

One of the packages here contains the custom hand colored findings ordered by my customer....I enjoyed patina-ing (....patinating...or whatever the word is) these pretties....

I only have a sampler of the colors but hopefully I can save up to buy the bigger tins of it and then watch out metals....

Anyways...with all the downpour...i am stuck in the house. Doing some updating on the website, fixing stocks that i haven't put away or listed on the site. I am hoping the sun comes out soon though....lots of errands to do once it does.

Stay warm....
